Additionally, the organization is responsible for 1.09 million square yards in 20 airfield pavements; 43.66 million linear feet in 1,413 utility grid systems; and 24.51 million square feet in 386 support infrastructure (roads) installations. Dollar volume of capital spending in 2004 toward facilities includes $615 million in minor construction, restoration, and modernization; and $363 million in restoration and modernization.
