Headquarters/Pacific Air ForcesHickam Air Force Base, HI(808) Air Forces, headquartered at Hickam Air Force Base, HI, is one of nine major commands of the U.S. Air Force and is the air component of the U.S. Pacific Command. According to information provided by the Headquarters at Hickam, the HQ PACAF/CE has 2,000 professionals involved full-time in facilities, which consist of 100 office buildings, totaling 1 billion square feet; 15 educational buildings, totaling 1 million square feet; nine healthcare buildings, totaling 1 million square feet; 75 hotel/motel buildings, totaling 2 million square feet; and 500 multi-family housing buildings, totaling 25 million square feet. Presently, 50 new construction and 250 modernization projects are under way.
