Mr. Polly is the Chief Solutions Officer for ProTecht Solutions Partners, a security technology consulting firm that works with Smart Cities and Corporations to bring business intelligence and public safety through security IoT applications. Mr. Polly has over 22 years of Physical and Electronic Security experience. He has a keen understanding of the security technology market and is frequently requested to consult for projects that require outside-of-the-box technology solutions.

As a security technology consultant, regular content writer, and contributor to industry publications, Mr. Polly has been fortunate to spend time with a majority of the security technology providers both in the security industry and those offering technologies from outside the security space; i.e. traditional IT vendors, and more. Mr. Polly is regularly contacted by technology providers to evaluate the technology from an industry perspective and functionality. This has provided Mr. Polly an insight into many of the security technology providers and their technology roadmaps for the foreseeable future. This also has allowed Mr. Polly insight into which technologies are the best solutions for unique problems.

As a former Police Officer (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department) and Security Administrator for a Global Non-Profit (Billy Graham Evangelistic Association). Prior to becoming a security consultant, he was Project Manager and System Designer for City-Wide surveillance projects. He also managed a growing security integration company. Most recently he has worked alongside other consulting firms and with multi-state and global Fortune-level companies to address the unique security requirements companies like these may face.

Mr. Polly sees the future of security as an IoT/OT and cybersecurity convergence that is only growing. Physical and Electronic Security now must have a radical shift in design and implementation to meet the customer's growing needs. IoT/OT and cybersecurity solutions will be the key to creating an Enterprise of Things that work together.

Mr. Polly is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and holds degrees in Criminal Justice and Anthropology. He holds a North Carolina Low Voltage Electrical License (NC SP/LV) and active North Carolina and South Carolina Alarm Board Licenses. Mr. Polly is certified as a Physical Security Professional (PSP) through ASIS International. He holds a Security Industry Cybersecurity Certification (SICC) from the Security Industry Association (SIA), a Certified in Cybersecurity (cc) certification from ISC2, and he is certified in Critical Chain Project Management (IC3PM) by the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA). He is also certified as a Milestone VMS certified design engineer (MCDE), Ubiquiti and Siklu wireless engineer, and holds OSHA 30 Safety Certification. Mr. Polly is a regular contributor to JADELearning, Security Business Magazine, ASIS Security Technology Magazine, and the ASIS Emerging Technology Community.

Jarod Stockdale CPP, PSP, RCDD, CFI

Jarod is a Sr. Project Manager & Security Consultant at Faith Group, LLC. Across his 24 years of work in the private security sector, he has gained vast and diverse experience leading teams in the design, engineering, and installation of complex integrated physical security and network systems, along with providing security consulting and threat & vulnerability assessments. Jarod has been involved in many successful projects across healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, data center, aviation, transportation, and commercial markets. He is highly knowledgeable in a variety of systems integrations and platforms. Jarod has led teams in the private security sector and developed successful public/private partnering programs with law enforcement agencies and task forces across the country. He has volunteered as part of the Physical Security Council of ASIS international and is a trained emergency volunteer with FEMA. Jarod’s certified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), and a Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI).
