Allowing employees to easily and quickly check the authenticity of IDs, the 3M CR5400 Double-Sided ID1 Reader can be used with little to no training, as its color-coded LED lights give a real-time response indicating whether or not the provided ID is valid.
The reader checks IDs in less than four seconds and works by comparing the printed region, barcodes, and magnetic stripe data. Optional software is available that can check government-issued IDs against a database to verify authenticity.
