Rhombus Recon Dispatches Robots to Investigate Beyond Fixed Cameras

This autonomous physical security solution collects video evidence and alerts teams when it finds an anomaly.

Rhombus Recon is an autonomous physical security solution that extends physical security beyond the limits of fixed cameras. Users can autonomously or manually dispatch a robot to do a closer investigation or patrol of a particular event. Rhombus Recon integrates with the broader Rhombus platform of AI cameras, sensors, access control, and alarm monitoring to provide additional situational awareness.

Customers can also take specific actions based on what Recon sees; for example, it can check how well stocked the shelves of a store are, whether a bathroom is clean, or even if there is a potential intruder coming in the back door. Facilities teams can also program the robot to follow scheduled routes through warehouses, manufacturing environments, or campuses. During patrols, the system collects video evidence, performs safety checks, and generates alerts when anomalies are detected.
