SmartPOD, a high bay luminaire with advanced networking capabilities and demand response capability, brings smart grid functionalities to large area lighting. It can replace outdated HID drivers to create responsive, efficient HID lighting with a simple retrofit process requiring no rewiring. SmartPOD provides more than 100 lumens per watt and color rendering greater than 95 CRI. It can be used with other lighting controls, including zonal and occupancy sensing, daylight harvesting, and time of day scheduling.
