Unity Cooling System by Data Aire

June 2, 2011

Data Aire's Unity Cooling System software minimizes the mixing of hot and cold air in data centers, allowing significant energy savings. Unlike alternative methods of cooling, which inject more conditioned air into the spaces closest to where the heat is generated, Unity measures the amount of air required by the servers. Its fans then vary their speed to the amount of air the servers release, and the active chimneys allow hot aisle/cold aisle containment by drawing the hot exhaust air away from the rack.
