Maxton's Valve Exchange Program replaces worn-out hydraulic elevator control valves with reconditioned valves at up to 50% less than the cost of a new valve. Mechanics place orders by sending Maxton the serial number and flange size and type, and Maxton ships an OEM rebuilt like-new valve and a return number for the old one. After receiving the old valve, the company issues a credit to lower the cost. The exchange reduces labor and elevator downtime over rebuilding a valve in the field and ensures uniform quality.
