BioTray is a natural, biodegradable, modular system for vegetated roofs. The 17-inch square trays are made of natural latex and coconut coir, a rapidly renewable product. The fiber decomposes and converts the module into growing media that supports a broad plant palette, including pre-established plants. BioTray systems provide savings in energy by reducing temperature extremes on the roof surface, as well as absorbing and filtering stormwater runoff.
