YORK Magnetic Centrifugal Chiller by Johnson Controls
The YORK Magnetic Centrifugal Chiller (YMC2) by Johnson Controls is 10% more efficient than conventional, variable-speed chillers and includes an optimized centrifugal compressor that utilizes low temperature, cooling-tower water to save energy.
Along with optimal energy efficiency, the (YMC2) is also quieter than any comparable chiller in the marketplace. Magnetic-bearing technology eliminates driveline vibration and reduces noise at off-design conditions, allowing the (YMC2) to be perceived at about 50% of the volume as other magnetic-bearing chillers.
(YMC2) features a sustainable design utilizing refrigerant HFC-134a.
