STANLEY Access Technologies, part of the Allegion family, has launched the ProCare 8500 and 8500A 3-Panel Telescoping ICU Door, the latest design in their ProCare Series of healthcare doors.

The manual ProCare 8500 and the automatic 8500A were engineered to create the widest door opening for telescopic doors; the 8500 has 56.8 inches of clearance for an 8-foot telescoping door to allow patients, staff, and equipment to move in and out of ICU rooms more quickly. The 8500A has 55.7 inches of clearance for an 8-foot package. Both models have push-button break-out and reset, which make it easy for a single staff member to open and reset the entire door system. The trackless system minimizes the number of places that bacteria and other germs can build up. The doors also feature contoured handles and latch and lock shrouds to prevent snagging on IV lines.
