Clopay Corporation’s AlarmGard Conceal Motor Operator Closes During Fire Events

Clopay Corporation’s AlarmGard Conceal Motor Operator is a space-saving solution that delivers alarm-triggered closure during a fire event while streamlining aesthetics. The motor and controller are enclosed within the door hood, reducing headroom requirements for the coil and operator by 11 inches—a 34% reduction in space compared to standard operators. It can be installed flush with the ceiling. For counter fire doors 10 feet and wider, AlarmGard Conceal also increases the bracket height and aligns the bracket with the stoppers for a seamless look.

The motor operator is UL 325 listed and features a standard onboard battery backup that prevents unintended drops during temporary power failures for up to one hour. It provides 24VDC failsafe performance without fusible links for quick, reliable deployment in alarm mode.
