C-Power-enabled Click-to-Conceal Panels are now featured on Clopay Corporation’s commercial garage doors, Models 904 and 906. C-Power delivers power directly to the garage door sections and enables the glass panels to switch from clear to opaque using a wireless remote, transforming the garage door into a responsive design element that adapts to changing needs throughout the day.
In commercial applications, the glass panels balance daylight, glare, and safety; an automotive showroom can display vehicles during business hours and obscure them after closing, while a retailer can conceal products after hours to reduce theft risk. When opaque, the panels block UV rays and limit heat gain to help regulate indoor temperatures and protect interiors from fading. For security, the panels also default to opaque when the power is off.
