MasterShield Gutter Guards use MicroVortex cloth technology, which allows more water and air to permeate the cloth while blocking debris as small as 50 microns. The cloth contains a defined ratio of threads-per-inch to thread diameter, so it appears solid but actually has open airspace for water. It acts as an opaque barrier to the tiniest debris, yet reacts to water as if it wasn’t even there. The cloth also self-cleans for roof oils that leach from asphalt shingles.
