Tarkett Introduces In the Making, A Carpet Collection for Education and the Workplace

The collection’s three patterns honor the process of how ideas are created.

Tarkett has launched In the Making, a carpet collection ideal for education and workplace settings. It reflects creative expression and honors the gradual process of how ideas take shape. The three bold patterns—Traced, Preparation, and Gestural—are available in 12 colorways with a choice of ethos carpet tile, Flex-Aire cushion carpet tile, and Powerbond hybrid carpet. All three are made with Dynex SD, a cationic nylon made with 100% recycled fiber resin, and treated with Eco-Ensure, which carries a C2C Certified Material Health Certificate at the Gold level.

Traced has a layered, cross-directional linear pattern that creates a textural grid, while Preparation has an abstract, deconstructed linear pattern that creates a fluid sense of movement and layered texture. Gestural translates freeform mark-making into a modular pattern with scattered rectangles and rhombus-like shapes. The collection is part of Tarkett’s ReStart take-back and recycling program.
