Hilltip’s AM Series Combination Spreaders Now Come in Extended Auger Models

Hilltip now offers extended auger models of its AM series combination spreaders. Designed for today’s interchangeable truck bed systems, the extended auger allows the hopper to be positioned closer to the bulkhead of the truck for better weight distribution.

Ranging from 2.0 to 4.2 cubic-yard capacities with polyethylene hoppers, the Hilltip AM series spreaders have 6-inch stainless steel augers for protection against corrosion and rust. They can be powered by 12- or 24-volt dual motors. The hoppers include a vibrator and inverted-V to maximize material flow. AM series machines also have integral liquid tanks ranging in capacity from 220 to 250 gallons, with optional pre-wetting nozzles, dual spray bar, and hose reel with hand-held spray nozzle. The extended auger is available as a retrofit for older spreader models; simply unbolt the existing auger trough and install the new kit using the same holes.
