This chiller eliminates the need to add glycol to your building’s water loop to prevent freezing.
    Jan. 12, 2024

The Pathfinder AWV with Closed-Loop Free Cooling eliminates the need to add glycol to the building’s water loop to prevent freezing in colder climates. The chiller is paired with an intermediate heat exchanger; glycol can be used outdoors in the chiller but remains isolated from the building water loop, reducing potential impact to performance and maintenance inside the facility.

It’s ideal for data centers and any other application that needs cooling regardless of the season, such as hospitals. Outdoor air is used to naturally cool the fluid loop, reducing compressor work and increasing efficiency. It also operates without needing water from a cooling tower, cutting water consumption and costs for water, sewer and chemical treatment.
