It supports operation from -20 to 140 degrees F., maintaining cooling continuity during extreme heat and grid events and across diverse site conditions. It can restore 100% cooling capacity in under 3 minutes if the power is interrupted, providing an added layer of protection.
The AquaEdge 30CF chiller can deliver more than 3 MW of cooling, depending on the ambient conditions, and uses a two-stage, back-to-back centrifugal compressor with magnetic bearing technology—the same oil-free architecture used in Carrier’s AquaEdge 19MV water-cooled centrifugal chiller.
