    Sustainable acoustic luminaire.
    Oct. 19, 2022

Lean is a 2- by 2-foot acoustic lay-in luminaire that becomes part of an architectural ceiling tile while increasing sound absorption across ceiling planes. During an office refurbishment, the removal of grid tiles can create an unfinished ceiling look that reflects sound and negatively impacts acoustics; Lean integrates with the ceiling to fill these gaps and improve noise levels. Its Lambertian direct distribution delivers a soft, even illumination that suppresses glare and shadows.

The wedge shape and felt-like panels bring spatial depth to grid ceilings. The acoustic panels contain 40% recycled PET bottles; Lean also features low-VOC materials, and all unnecessary components have been stripped away. The product is Declare label listed to enhance transparency and simplify material tracking.
