Alloy LED introduces the Mudr AlCove 3 in. and 4 in. recessed mud-in channels, which feature a scoop design that creates an attractive light gradient in walls. The channels can be mounted in ceiling drywall as a wall wash or lower in the wall (below the eye line) with the light engine facing down to provide floor illumination, as well as above eye level with the light engine up for ceiling illumination.
The aluminum channels easily wrap around corners without the need for soldering or corner connectors that can create dark spots. Their paintable surface ensures integration with any existing interior. The 4-inch channel is compatible with 5/8-inch drywall, while the 3-inch channel can be installed in both 1/2-inch and 5/8-inch drywall.
