Watts has launched its Single-Stage Total PFAS Reduction Filtration System, which connects to most existing kitchen and bathroom faucets in light commercial settings. Unlike many filters that target only PFOA and PFOS, this system is certified to reduce 99.5% of total PFAS, covering a broader category of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. It also reduces lead, cysts, asbestos, microplastics, chlorine taste and odors, and sediment.
The filtration system has a flow rate of 2.5 gallons per minute and a 0.5-micron carbon block filter rated for 3,200 gallons. Users should replace the cartridge every six months.
