Transitioning from PEX expansion to Schedule 80 CPVC is simplified with Uponor’s ProPEX Lead-Free (LF) Brass Schedule 80 Corzan CPVC Adapters. The adapters reduce the number of required components in hybrid domestic water and mechanical HVAC piping systems to provide cost savings and labor efficiencies while improving system performance.

Available with spigot and socket connections in sizes from 1/2 inch to 3 inches, these adapters provide 50% fewer installation steps to speed up installations and maximize designs to their full pressure rating. The lead-free brass on the ProPEX side of the adapter meets safe drinking water requirements, while the CPVC side is made from durable Schedule 80 Corzan CPVC, which provides consistent performance even in continuous recirculation systems with chlorinated water up to 140 degrees F.
