NWPX Showcases GreaseTrooper Gravity Grease Interceptor

This code-compliant vault uses the principle of buoyancy to separate fats, oils, and greases (FOG) from water.

NWPX Park and NWPX Geneva, divisions of NWPX Infrastructure, offer the GreaseTrooper Gravity Grease Interceptor, a code-compliant solution for restaurants, institutional kitchens, food processing plants, and industrial facilities that manage fats, oils, and greases (FOG) in wastewater. The interceptors utilize a gravity-flow design and a series of internal baffles to slow incoming wastewater and separate it into layers; grease rises to the top, solids settle at the bottom, and clarified water exits through an outlet baffle.

The systems are available in capacities from 500 to 20,000 gallons and can be right-sized to match meal volumes and service conditions across a variety of facilities. Choose from precast concrete, stainless steel, or fiberglass interceptor vaults with options for aboveground, freestanding, or direct-bury installation. Interior and exterior protective liners, such as HDPE or epoxy, provide additional protection against corrosion and abrasion.
