Because of its heavier weight and nonskid backing, Hot & Heavy requires no adhesive or underlays.

The tiles feature 59% recycled content, carry FloorScore certification, and have low VOCs. The loose-lay LVT creates realistic wood and concrete patterns. Subfloor preparation is reduced as the tiles can tolerate up to 95% relative humidity and spaces can be occupied immediately after installation.

If a tile becomes damaged, replacement can be done without disassembling the floor. Its acoustical inner layer tests at 57 IIC to limit sound.
