Polaris high-efficiency gas water heaters have a submerged combustion chamber with a spiral heat exchanger that retains hot combustion gases in the tank longer. Delivers up to 96% efficient operation, compared to the 80% thermal efficiency of conventional gas water heaters.

Features a 22-inch diameter design with a 199,000-BTU input. Stainless steel with brass connections. Surrounded by non-CFC foam for low standby heat loss. Available in 34- and 50-gallon models.
