Kata is Arper’s first solid wood lounge chair. It’s lightweight in both form and environmental footprint. Inspired by artisan-made wood and woven straw chairs, it features an oak and black locust wooden frame that supports a tailor-made 3D knit textile.
The cover is created from recycled polyester made from post-consumer plastic, avoiding leftover material waste found in traditional manufacturing. Kata can be used indoors or outdoors.
