The LAMILUX Fire Resistance Series is built to withstand fire and heat for a certain period of time to protect lives, property and possessions. It’s available in two skylight variants (Glass Skylights or Glass Roof) and three fire resistance classes. Glass Skylights can withstand fire and heat for 30, 60 or 90 minutes, while Glass Roofs resist fire and heat for 30 or 60 minutes.

Ideal for public buildings where a large number of people are present, such as educational establishments, shopping centers and cultural facilities. The skylights are protected by heat- and fire-resistant glazing, which has been tested under additional load. Glass Skylights can be installed on roofs with a pitch of up to 15 degrees and offer optimized water and dirt drainage, while the Glass Roof can be designed as a monopitch roof with an inclination of 2 to 80 degrees.
