IKO’s Roof-Fast Cap and Base are low-slope roofing components that address the unique challenges of low-slope roofs. When paired together, the cap and base create a robust, multilayer roofing system that ensures optimal leak protection and durability.
IKO Roof-Fast Base is constructed of a durable, reinforcing mat of nonwoven glass fibers that have been coated and permeated with polymer-modified asphalt; the self-adhesive product can be installed with either an optional mechanical installation method or a self-adhered method that can be cold-applied. IKO Roof-Fast Cap is a self-adhered, polymer-modified cap sheet constructed of a durable, reinforcing mat of nonwoven glass fibers that have been coated and permeated before applying mineral surface. It can be used alone or in combination with Roof-Fast Base.
