The BMS1000 LoRaWAN Gateway with BMS Integration integrates H2O Degree’s wireless water submetering and leak detection network into building or energy management systems, connecting via the existing BMS’s bus as a third-party device. It is a fully on-premise device that doesn’t need to connect to the internet to provide data to your BMS, reducing IT risks. BMS1000 uses wireless IoT connectivity utilizing the LoRaWAN protocol or wired connectivity via Modbus TCP/RCU, BACnet IP, LON, or others.

The device features flexible and remote monitoring, controls, and logging; it leverages data collected by the submetering system, enabling users to implement automated controls, such as adjusting plumbing and HVAC systems or lighting schedules based on utility consumption, occupancy patterns, or demand response signals. Advanced analytics and reporting functionalities help users visualize water and electric usage trends, track performance metrics, and accurately allocate costs.
