Emerson’s EasyHeat PSR Pre-Terminated Self-Regulating Cable is a plug-in, pre-assembled heating cable for roof and gutter de-icing and pipe freeze protection. It delivers dependable heat where ice forms, automatically adjusting heat output to outdoor conditions to guard against ice dams and frozen pipes while optimizing energy use. At its core is a parallel-resistance, self-regulating heating element that puts targeted heat where the conditions are coldest and ensures lower energy draw everywhere else so you don’t waste watts on mild days. It can be overlapped on itself without overheating or premature failure, and users don’t need a separate thermostat for operation.

Each cable comes in a fixed length with factory-sealed, water-resistant connections and an integral three-wire plug with a built-in pilot light that visually confirms whether the cable is energized and working. For applications that call for a hardwired circuit, 240 Vac PSR models are also available.
