A national initiative of Keep America Beautiful, America Recycles Day is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting recycling in the United States, and it's right around the corner. The 20th anniversary of America Recycles Day is coming up on Wednesday, November 15th.
Keep America Beautiful is encouraging facility managers to #BeRecycled by learning more, consistently and correctly recycling, and to buy products made from recycled content.
There are appoximately 2,300 America Recycles Day events registered so far nationwide. In addition to tossing your bottles, cans, papers,and other recyclables into their specially designated receptacles, facility managers interested in hosting their own America Recycles Day event can also find planning guides and other support materials at the America Recycles Day website.
