The new OSHA QuickCard outlines the complete steps employers must take to keep workers safe when responding to natural and man-made disasters.

The steps to protect workers at risk of injury or death from slips, trips and falls includes: assessing the worksite for hazards; providing protective equipment such as head protection, gloves, and slip-resistant footwear; and training workers to identify hazards.
