The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) this month congratulated the winners of its TIA QuEST Forum Annual Awards, including the association's 2021 Sustainability Awards, a new TIA QuEST Forum Fellow, its Volunteer of the Year and its Participant Company of the Year.
The Annual TIA QuEST Forum Sustainability Awards recognize companies for their outstanding performance and innovation in sustainability practices which are calculated using the results of TIA’s Sustainability Assessor tool.
TIA QuEST Forum Sustainability Awards were given across five categories:
- Ribbon IPO – 2021 Award for Excellence in Network Equipment Sustainability
- Tech Mahindra – 2021 Award for Excellence in Software Sustainability
- IBM – 2021 Award in Corporate Sustainability Excellence (second year in a row)
- Teltech Group – 2021 Award for Excellence in Sustainable Field Services (third year in a row)
- CTDI – 2021 Award for Excellence in Sustainable Consumer Electronics
Also, the TIA QuEST Forum recognized its newest Fellow, Jeff Bostow from Sector Supply. Bostow brings more than 13 years of service to QuEST Forum, beginning in the early development of the organization’s global quality standard, TL 9000. He currently serves as the Chair of Oversight Working Group and is a member of the organization's Leadership Council. Bostow has been a TL 9000 subject matter expert and presenter at the annual QuEST Forum Americas Best Practices Conferences. Most recently, he was an integral part of the development team for the new supply chain security standard, SCS 9001.
Finally, TIA QuEST Forum presented annual awards to:
- Volunteer of the Year: Sheronda Jeffries from Cisco Systems
- Company Participant of the Year: Infinera
