• Dwyer Instruments' chief innovation officer named to CABA board

    Fabian Weber of Dwyer Instruments has been named to the board of directors of the Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA).

    The Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA), the non-profit industry association dedicated to the advancement of connected home and intelligent building technologies, on May 6 announced its appointment of Fabian Weber of Dwyer Instruments to the CABA board of directors.

    Per a CABA press release, as the chief innovation officer at Dwyer, Weber "has acquired and managed key customers around the world, built numerous international innovation and R&D partnerships, and established and led international subsidiaries for developers and manufacturers of smart drive systems and connectivity solutions."

    Dwyer is a global specialist in the design and manufacture of innovative sensors and instrumentation platforms for the indoor air quality (IAQ) and process/industrial markets. Founded in 1931, the company is headquartered in Michigan City, Indiana, and has additional offices in Asia, Europe, and Australia.

    “Fabian Weber brings a wealth of innovation, business development and R&D experience to the CABA board,” commented Greg Walker, CEO of CABA. “His more than 20 years of global expertise in telecom, datacom, vehicle decarbonization, and specialty connectivity will be significant contributions to CABA’s industry development efforts.”

    A native of Switzerland now living in the US, Weber is an electrical engineer with a major in Microelectronics, and a certified Professional Innovator with a specialty in the strategy implications of artificial intelligence.
