The Rio Collection
Rio is a durable multipurpose flexback stacking chair masquerading as a compact, stylish and versatile seating solution for education, corporate, and healthcare markets. A 4-leg plastic stacking chair and two 4-leg café stools (27” & 30”) offer a carnival of features at an unexpectedly low price. Choose from a river of 17 energetic shell colors and two standard frame finishes with matching arm pads.
Rio features ARC Technology™ (Active Recline Control) to achieve weight-assisted flex. ARC Technology utilizes a flexor insert – hidden inside the back base – made from polyoxymethylene (POM). POM is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction and excellent dimensional stability. The material is widely used in the automotive and consumer electronics industry. The flexor is securely bolted to the seat frame to endure punishing daily use, yet return to its original shape without fail.

Suggested list pricing for the Lumin 4-leg armless chair is $216. List price for the Lumin 27” café stool is $342; the 30” stool is $366.
