In case you missed the column from chief editor Maury Wright in this week’s News & Insights newsletter, LightFair International is going ahead, but Maury and I will not be there in New York City. We are very sorry to miss the chance to meet with both new and familiar faces in person but hope to see many of you in 2022. Please do say hello to our publisher Steve Beyer and sales colleague Tim Carli, who will be at the Javits Center.
I’m mentioning this on our blog because I want to encourage LightFair exhibitors to send their announcements to us so we can cover the event as best we can from a distance. We have done exhibitor product previews in the past and we’d like to do so again.
If you’d like us to feature your exhibitor announcement on the LEDs Magazine website and in upcoming newsletters, please e-mail the following:
- Press release announcement in Word document or pasted into the e-mail body (no PDFs, please)
- Contact details for exhibiting company (Name/Company, Email, Website URL — not a PR agency contact)
- A high-resolution product image, company logo, or marketing graphic (Min. 300 dpi at 1500 pixels; JPEG, PNG, and TIFF formats preferred)
- LightFair exhibitor booth number
We are also happy to receive announcements about other activities taking place during the exhibition and education program, so if you are a presenter or hosting a tour or other learning opportunity connected to LightFair, please send that information along.
Remember, while this is a trade show, audience members want to know what makes your product innovative, reliable, architecturally appealing, sustainable, technically robust, and so on, so don’t skip on the performance/construction details in your announcements. What expertise are you offering? Why should they pay you a visit? Now more than ever, everyone wants to maximize their time and investment in events. And while you’re at it, let me know if there is anything in particular you plan to attend or look for while you’re at LightFair — tell us what’s sending you to the show.
