Acuity Brands has launched the Haleon BTP fixture integrated occupancy sensors with dimming photocells from SensorSwitch. The Haleon BTP showcases a flashlight wakeup feature that allows the user to update individual fixtures or small groups quickly and easily after completing batch programming.

To quickly change feature settings, the user simply shines a flashlight at the fixture they would like to update up to a 100-foot range. The light wakes up the sensors and connects them to the user’s mobile device through Bluetooth. Once the sensor is programmed through the SensorSwitch VLP Mobile App, the user can set occupancy time delay, dimming, trim values, daylight harvesting and photocontrol options from the floor, eliminating the need to use a lift or ladder—an ideal option for warehouses.
