• DryRoof TU Tile Underlayment

    April 9, 2012

DryRoof TU tile underlayment is designed for use under foam-applied clay tile. Its self-adhering high-strength polyester fabric surface is combined with SBS-modified asphalt to eliminate the need for nailing. The underlayment resists temperatures up to 250 degrees F. and provides a heavy-duty moisture barrier, making it a viable choice for hot, humid climates.

The rolls, which measure 3 feet by 61 feet, can be laid out directly over a clean, dry surface, which means wood roof deck priming is rarely necessary. A permanent roof surface should be installed as soon as possible, but the underlayment can be exposed for up to six months.

DryRoof resists tears and punctures and meets the requirements of ASTM D 1970, Type II. It is guaranteed to remain watertight for the duration of the warranty of the tile applied above it, up to 50 years.
