• NovaSeal Roof Underlayment

    July 10, 2012

NovaSeal Roof Underlayment is crafted from woven polypropylene, allowing it to outperform Type 15 and Type 30 asphalt roofing felts in durability, ease of handling, weight, and protection from the elements.

Its two-sided anti-slip coating results in a durable surface with good traction, allowing a safer work environment in wet or dusty conditions. It can be left exposed for up to 12 months and maintains a consistent thermal stability that keeps it flexible in all weather extremes. The underlayment is not affected by water and won’t support mold growth. It rolls out flat and will not wrinkle, crack, or leach; it also resists tears and punctures.

NovaSeal can be used with all primary roofing materials, including shingles, shakes, mechanically attached terra cotta/cement tiles, and metal. It’s 100% recyclable and meets or exceeds Fire Resistance Class A building codes.
