SOPRALENE SG and ELASTOPHENE SG are modified bitumen cap sheets enhanced with highly reflective 3M granules to lower building cooling costs. The reflective granules provide high solar reflective index ratings, with an initial solar reflectance index (SRI) of 80 and an aged SRI of 75.
Thermal emittance rates stay at 0.91 initially and after aging, and solar reflectance rates at 0.65 initially and 0.62 after aging. Opaque to protect the asphaltic layer.
