CrystalShield is unlike other insulating roof coatings because it's not reflective. It acts as a true insulation, reducing heat transfer in both hot and cold climates and seasons. In third party ASTM E1530 testing over roof tile, the coating reduced heat conduction by 29.7 percent.
CrystalShield also has value-added protective benefits. It’s resistant to mold/mildew and the type of bacteria that causes black streaks on roofs (keeps roofs cleaner), is UV resistant, and moisture and weathering resistant.
