    Middle and High Schools

These two schools on a common site total 169,000 square feet. The middle school was designed for 600 students and the high school for 800. Exterior elements of each school are complementary, with a bell tower for the middle school and clock tower for the high school. Exterior finishes include aluminum windows, brick veneer exterior, and a combination of built-up and standing seam metal roofing. Corridors in the buildings have vinyl tile while classrooms have carpet.

    Elementary School

This new elementary school replaces two 100-year-old existing schools. The renovation of the old schools was determined to be far more expensive than a new replacement. Exterior brick colors and patterns are modeled after a nearby historic depot. Classroom wings and multipurpose spaces are gabled to enhance the traditional look. Mechanical mezzanines occupy the volume above the classroom hallways for easy maintenance and clean roof lines. The facility includes a community media center and two computer labs.
