Guide for Federal Financing

Oct. 18, 2013
Need financing for an energy project? A new guide highlights national sources.

Federal Finance Facilities Available for Energy Efficiency Upgrades and Clean Energy Deployment is a resource guide that makes it easier for state, local, and private leaders to find capital for clean energy and efficiency projects.

The guide lists the various federal financing programs and is organized by market segment. Each finance facility is presented in a table by type of instrument along with the federal agency that administers the program, such as the USDA, DOE, EPA, HUD, SBA, DOT, and the Treasury.

Financing vehicles include loan assistance, capital funding, tax credits, bonds, performance contracting, revolving funds, refinancing, and grant programs. A single point of contact is listed for each opportunity. Download at energy.gov.
