Enhanced Performance Roof Hatch by Bilco

Bilco’s enhanced performance roof hatch is designed with a fully insulated cover and curb and features a 2-inch ozone-friendly polyisocyanurate thermal insulation board with an R-value of 12.

The hatch itself has a high solar reflective index and is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum milled mostly from recycled content, meeting LEED recycled content standards. Its EPDM finger-type gasket ensures a positive seal between the cover and curb to reduce air permeability, resulting in a hatch more than 48% more energy-efficient than standard hatches.

A heavy-duty slam latch securely locks the door closed. Interior and exterior hasps and a hold-open arm add additional security.
