Industry Experts Gergen, Zell, and Linneman at 2011 BOMA International Conference

The 2011 BOMA International Conference will take place June 26-28 in Washington, D.C. and will feature David Gergen, Sam Zell, and Peter Linneman.


The 2011 BOMA International Conference will take place June 26-28 in Washington, D.C. and will feature David Gergen, Sam Zell, and Peter Linneman.

David Gergen:  David Gergen, a renowned White House advisor, journalist, and teacher is a senior political analyst for CNN, a professor of public service at Harvard Kennedy School, and the director of its Center for Public Leadership. Gergen will be delivering the Sunday keynote address.

Sam Zell: Sam Zell is chairman of Equity Group Investments, LCC, and is recognized as the father of the public real estate industry after creating three of the largest real estate investment trusts in history. Zell serves on the President’s Advisory Board at the University of Michigan, the JPMorgan National Advisory Board, and the the Visitor’s Committee at the University of Michigan Law School. Zell will be debating Linneman on the state of commercial real estate in the U.S. and the world during the Monday General Session.

Dr. Peter Linneman: Dr. Peter Linneman is the principal of Linneman Associates and also serves as the Albert Sussman Professor of Real Estate, Finance, and Public Policy at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Linneman has published over 80 articles during his career and is the founding co-editor of the Wharton Real Estate Review. Cited as one of the 25 most influential people in real estate by Realtor Magazine, Linneman will debate Zell during the Monday General Session.
