Business Leaders Discuss Energy Policy and Sustainability Issues

Set against the backdrop of the upcoming Presidential election and the future of energy policy, energy security, and climate change initiatives, the 31st World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC) starts on Oct. 1 in Washington, D.C.

The opening ceremonies will include keynote addresses from renowned energy efficiency and sustainable decision-makers on Energy Independence & the Security Act, The Increasing Pace of Climate Change, New Directions in Energy Policy, and Visions for a Sustainable Energy Future.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is sponsoring a special section of the exposition called GreenStreet, where corporate and government energy leaders can find solutions for making their organization more energy efficient, implement sustainable technologies and strategies, and be a green leader for economic growth.
