The Coyle Co., Boston, MA

The Coyle Co. offers estate and generational planning for high-net-worth clients. Visitors to the space discuss sensitive financial and investment matters and require a private, reassuring, and professional environment.

The company’s space had become tired and dated (not to mention crowded). Another tenant vacated its space within the building, so The Coyle Co. expanded and set forth to create a timeless office with a neutral palette to reflect the business success and the comfort to which its clients are accustomed.

Special Design Feature
The space’s overall design emerges from a neutral palette with twists. The open-office plan gains visual interest from direct/indirect lighting suspended on an angle above the workstations. Cherry stain unifies furniture, doors, and custom millwork and provides a fitting backdrop for splashes of red and umber in the fabrics and walls. Rich ivory marble flooring and copper accents in the main lobby are contrasted by a punch of tangerine walls and yellow seating in a lively breakroom space.
