Manual pinpoints strategies for high-performance schools
The Collaborative for High-Performance Schools (CHPS) has published Maintenance & Operations, a publication that provides guidance for maintenance and operations staff, teachers, and administrators. Introductory chapters contain information tailored to district and managerial staff, with subsequent chapters containing guidelines on topics such as building envelope, lighting, HVAC, landscaping, plumbing, and snow management/de-icing for maintenance, custodial, and groundskeeping staff.
