May 3, 2004
EFCO Corp. offers architects, installers, and building owners an array of design, efficiency, and performance benefits in the System 433 Triple Set™ storefront framing system.System 433 Triple Set™ is a thermal framing system accommodating three glass planes, which lets architects create a shadow-box effect using glass thicknesses of up to one inch. With 90˚ and 135˚ inside and outside corner mullions, System 433 allows multi-faceted elevations. Stock length or fabricated framing plus anodized or painted finishes provide virtually unlimited options to make designs more expressive.Installers will find much to appreciate in the System 433 as well. All joints and horizontal mullions are square cut, allowing quick fabrication in the field along with shop fabrication of “ladders” that can be transported as a unit to the site for quick installation. All joints are fastened with #12 screws to simplify fabrication and strengthen the system for transportation without damage to the joinery system. Glass planes may be inside or outside glazed for construction flexibility, and uniform exterior and interior glazing gasket helps optimize gasket use.  For building owners, the System 433 adds value through performance. Stock steel bars or custom-fabricated steel shapes are available for mullions, eliminating the cost of customer steel fabrication. Glazing of up to one-inch thickness expands the system’s energy-savings options.EFCO Corp. is a leading U.S. manufacturer of aluminum windows, entrances, storefronts, and curtainwall systems for commercial architectural applications.
