Solvent Free Burmastic Adhesive Is a Proprietary, Asbestos-free, Fibrated, Solvent Free Cold Process Adhesive That Eliminates the Need For Open Flames, Hot-applied Roofing Torches, Hot Kettles and the Risk of Fire.
Beachwood, OH (Aril 30, 2004) – Tremco Roofing, a world leader in roofing and weatherproofing systems for over 75 years, introduces its newest product line of Solvent Free (SF) BURmastic Adhesive. SF BURmastic Adhesive is a proprietary, asbestos-free, fibrated, solvent-free cold process adhesive that eliminates the need for open flames, hot-applied roofing torches, hot kettles, and the risk of fire. Solvent Free BURmastic is designed for application as an interply adhesive with Tremco’s BURmastic Roofing Systems and PowerPlyMB Systems.Because SF BURmastic is cold applied, it has faster curing time. In addition, using SF BURmastic will reduce a contractor’s equipment needs and set-up time. SF BURmastic’s extremely low odor offers sensitive environments, such as schools and hospitals, the option of installing an environmentally friendly built-up or MB roof system,while minimizing operational disruptions.
